*Session I is being organized by Professors Devlin and Alice Woolley. Session II is being organized by Professors Adam Dodek and Stephen Pitel. Session III is being organized by Professor Brent Cotter and Professor Richard Devlin in conjunction with the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. As arrangements for the three Sessions are completed, we will provide you with a program update for the Symposium. If you have an interest in participating in one of these Sessions, please contact one of the people responsible for the organization of the particular session.
There is no fee to attend the Symposium, and, with the possible exception of alcohol at the Symposium Dinner, all meal costs will be provided by the College of Law at no expense to attendees.
We hope to be able to advise you shortly of a Hotel in Downtown Saskatoon that will serve as the ‘official hotel’ of the Symposium, and will advise you at that time of booking and registration arrangements.
An agenda for the CALE Annual Meeting will be circulated closer to the date of the Symposium.
If you have any questions about the Symposium in general, or about local arrangements for the Symposium, contact Professor Brent Cotter at brent.cotter [@] usask.ca.
If you have questions about the Annual Meeting, contact Professor Richard Devlin, the President of CALE at richard.devlin@dal.ca, or Professor Adam Dodek, the Secretary-Treasurer of CALE, at adam.dodek@uottawa.ca .
Given our continuing growth as an organization, the success of previous Symposia, another promising program and the pending implementation of Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility as a compulsory course of study at Canadian Common Law Schools, this Symposium is a particularly important one. We are hopeful that you will want to attend.
